You can save your application as a draft on Indeed and finish it later. Here’s how the Save and continue feature works, how to use it and what to expect.
Getting started
- Create an account or sign in.
- Find an Easily apply job that matches your profile and preferences.
- Click or tap Apply now.
Saving your progress
Follow these steps when you're ready to pause and save your progress:
- Click or tap Save and close. This link is located near the job title.
- From the pop-up window, select Save to exit your application. This action exits the application and saves your progress to My jobs.
- Go to My jobs. The application you exited shows as Application started.
- This saved job remains in My jobs for 14 days.
Important: job posts can expire at any time.
Continuing your application
Ready to resume an application? Here’s what to do.
- Go to the job post or open My jobs.
- The Application started label will be located above the job title.
Completing the job application
Click or tap Continue application to resume your application.

- We couldn't save your application progress.
- We couldn't save this job to My jobs.
Technical support
Problem: Your profile and the application draft may contain conflicting information.
Solution: Review your profile details and submit the application again.
Problem: It's been 14 days or more.
If the job hasn't expired, you can restart the application process by returning to the job post and clicking or tapping Apply now.
