The Resume options menu helps you manage a resume file after you've uploaded it to your account. This page describes the definition and purpose of this menu, option features, and troubleshooting tips.

Getting started
New and existing accounts
- Create an account or sign in.
- Open the Resume tab.
- Select Upload resume if you need to add a resume file to your profile.
- Click or tap the three dots next to your resume file, or the three dots next to the resume upload button.

Share a link to my resume
Copy a link to your profile so you can share it with others:
- Refresh to generate a new link.
- Preview your resume before sharing.
- Copy the link.
Block employers
- Stop certain employers from seeing your profile.
- Learn more about blocking employers on Indeed.
Change profile language
- Select a resume language to make the section headers match your content.

Preview
- Preview your resume on a new page when you upload or replace it, or during the application process.
- Zoom in and out by using a pinching motion.
Download
- Save a copy of your resume file to your computer or device for offline use, sharing, or printing.
Sync to profile
- Update your profile using the details from your resume.
- Your profile will change to match the information in the uploaded file.
Important: If you merged your Glassdoor and Indeed accounts, selecting Sync to profile will also update your profile on Glassdoor.
Upload to replace resume
- Replace your existing resume file with a new one.
Delete
- Remove the existing file in your profile.
After uploading your resume
You can apply for a job using this resume or upload a replacement during the application process.
